Antimicrobial Activity of leaf, fruit, and Gall extract of Pistacia terebinthus Growing in Tessala

Nature is a large deposit of active molecules plant origin, and the resources flora are far from being fully inventoried. Today, world continues to search for plants that can be used as basis new relatively treatments. In vitro antibacterial activity was evaluated on MeOH extract leaves, fruit galls, essential oil mastic gum Pistacia terebinthus Tessala (Western Algeria) against four human pathogenic microorganisms (Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus) using disc diffusion method. The gall revealed remarkable antimicrobial effect tested microorganisms. Strong observed samples aureus with inhibition zones 20 mm. These results suggested P. listed bactericides.
